Increasing Indigenous representation in employment and reducing the overall level of disadvantage among Indigenous Australians is an integral part of NRW's operations.
As part of our Indigenous Affairs, our Indigenous Employment & Training Policy aims to increase levels of Indigenous employment, and to assist the increase of social equity by improving Indigenous people’s income levels and employment opportunities.
Improving employment outcomes for Indigenous job seekers is a key element in providing economic independence, which will address the long-term disadvantage experienced by Indigenous Australians.
