PROJECT SUMMARY
This Project consisted primarily of Bulk Earthworks for the south part of the BHP Billiton railway duplication and is a Joint Venture with Laing O'Rourke and John Holland.
Work included:
- 600,000 cubic metres rock excavation
- 800,000 cubic metres fill
- Construction of a 350 man camp
All work is undertaken alongside existing operating rail tracks, thus highlighting the need for rigid safety and monitoring processes.
