Our Story

In 1994 in the Goldfields region of Western Australia, NRW was established by John Silverthorne and Jeffrey McGlinn as a small, privately run civil constructing and general plant hire firm.

With a determined spirit and a long term vision, the company soon became one of the leading tailings dam constructors in the region, and landed its first major coup in 1995 when it was awarded a five year contract for Westlime in Dongara in WA.

In the 15 years since, NRW has significantly expanded its service offerings and we now hold the enviable position as one of Australia’s leading suppliers of services to the Mining and Civil Industries.

Listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2007, NRW counts global resource giants such as BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto and Fortescue Metals Group amongst our key client base.

We look forward to the future as we utilise the diverse skills and experience of our Management Team and Board of Directors to build upon our strengths and continue to prove our value as a provider of quality services to the Mining and Resources Sector.
