Chairman — Ian Burston

Ian’s career includes former positions as Managing Director of Portman Limited, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Aurora Gold Ltd, Chief Executive Officer of Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd, Vice President – WA Business Development of CRA Ltd and Managing Director of Hamersley Iron Pty Ltd.

Ian has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mech) degree from Melbourne University and a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He has completed the Insead Management Course in Paris and the Harvard Advanced Management Program in Boston.He was awarded the Western Australian Citizen of the Year (category of Industry and Commerce) in 1992, the Order of Australia (General Division) in 1993 and an Honorary Doctor of Science (Curtin) in 1995.

Chief Executive Officer — Jeffrey McGlinn

Jeffrey is the founding Chief Executive Officer of NRW and has over 27 years of experience in civil contracting, mining and marketing.

Jeffrey was previously the Managing Director of Trustek Australia, which provided innovative construction technology throughout Australia and South East Asia for both commercial and domestic applications. In 2005 Jeffrey successfully negotiated the sale of Trustek to Bluescope.

His major responsibilities within NRW are in the areas of group management and finance including strategy, acquisitions and overall business development.

Chief Operating Officer — Julian Pemberton

Jules has over 18 years of experience in business, sales and management in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Jules joined NRW in 1997 and initially worked onsite before progressing into the sales and hire area. He was appointed Operations Manager, then General Manager in 2000 prior to his current role.

Non Executive Director — Michael Arnett

Michael Arnett is a consultant to and former partner of and member of the Board of Directors and national head of the Natural Resources Business Unit of the law firm Deacons. Michael has been involved in significant corporate and commercial legal work for the resource industry for over 20 years.
